an ample and impressive landscape that begins in Axaruquía (producer of
raisin wines), and extends through the monumental town of Antequera, Dolmen de
Menga, and El Torcal, where nature sculpted a unique landscape of narrow
passages and rough, pathless places where it seems like the rocks would like to
take human forms and walk away.
On the Costa del Sol, Torremolinos is a great city
and tourist cente with a convention and exposition facility, and excellent
beaches. Benalmádena, Fuengirola, and Marbella offer three pleasure
harbors, as well as important golf and equestrian clubs.
San Pedro de Alcántara is beautiful; Estepona
is a fishing village, and Manilva solitary.
Nerja is on a cliff, and honored with a magnificent
cavern that has become a theater for spectacles and ballets.
